WHY DID PICASSO SAVE HIS NAIL CLIPPINGS?

 

This is so odd that when I first heard that Pablo had Maria Therese give him a manicure and then direct her to save all his nail clippings I laughed but now I am really interested in WHY!

 Did he think they’d make her rich one day?

Was he superstitious about other people using them as voodoo against him?

I think it’s a scream and let’s remember he was an artist and we are all freaks!
