i can’t believe it,. I have been working wit one arm since July 12.

I can barely do anything by myself. painting is so difficult. My sweetheart helps me by squeezing out the paint and cleaning up for me but i do not go to the studio every day ant more. don’t know when this will all change. i hope it will be soon. It’s not so much fun here in paradise. all because i ran my puppy around the block, tripped in my flip flops over the crackity Pacific Beach sidewalk. Pray for Me. It’s been a crappy year.

On September 1 over 65 San Diego artists will be carrying their work into Alexander Salazar’s downtown gallery. The purpose of all this activity is to give the general public a glimpse of the real art scene here in San Diego as opposed to the event at the Hilton which will feature a select group of already well established and internationally known artists.

For you the advantage of visiting both venues is of course finding out what you like,discovering new talent and possibly purchasing a piece that may someday be worth a fortune.

The Easel Art prices at Salazar’s show have a maximum of $2000.

I travelled to New york three times this years to see her.

No more planning last goodbyes or final wishes.now that is the past and nothing more can be added to the life which has evaporated into thin air.

We enter alone and depart in the same manner.

She was 97 years old and she was much loved.

She was my mother: a dear sweet loving soul and yes she was full of life as they say until the very end.

This is not the Artists’s life as I know it. . I make as much time as possible for work and creative thought. Sometimes I can dream and during sleep have an epiphany. I have help from my close friends from time to time with special materials on a quid pro quo basis.

As I approach the end of my 65th year I am trying to catch up with time lost and gain momentum in the Art World. I guess if I add it all up I lost forty years fitting in to the expectations placed upon women by the older generation. I began to shake off the yoke of tradition when I turned 30. It has been a long process and I raised a son on my own but I never stopped making Art.

This little guy got wise , obviously having more brains in his noodle than his less fortunate family members,and probably opted out and was on his way to Disneyland.

Poor thing was apprehended and may be a “guest” in your home on Thanksgiving!

My girlfriend sent me a funny email for the holiday.

“If the Pilgrims had served the Indians Donkey instead of Turkey ,

we’d all get a piece of ass on Thanksgiving!!!

Am I the only one that whenever I begin to move forward in my career,

a major tragedy happens to someone close and

 all my plans and good fortune fall into the s–t pile with the rest?

I’m in New York finally getting a piece into a gallery anf the call came.

A disaster in San Diego and guess who’s gonna pay?

Is thie my payback for having too much fun in the late seventies? god knows I had a miserable life until then. When I chose to go ahead as a single pregnant woman without the full support of the father I thought Iwas doing something noble and above all else would raise a valuable member of society.

Now having to take a good long look at thet idiotic decision. There is no warm fuzzy relationship,That is a myth. He thinks that I need to “get a job”. I never worked and never supported him.

What the heck is going on with the youth of today? I just hope that tomorrow will look brighter.

Today I have some kind of flu bug and slipped and hurt my foot so I cannot

go to my studio to paint. Really need to get back to complete a project.
